Episode evidence: not assigned. International prelude. No authenticated numbered Thai episode applies to this build. global_beta_changelog

Historical schedules, archive capture dates and local rollout dates are distinct. Chapter order is a reference order where exact Thai dates remain unknown.

Historical patch notes

  • Community chronology describes skills, job progression and Mage becoming available; its December 2001 period is an international reference. Evidence: unverified compilation. global_beta_changelog
  • A 2002 Mage guide supplies a flat SP Recovery skill candidate; natural recovery is a separate unresolved rule. Evidence: contemporary cross region candidate. mage2002
  • March 1, 2002 Japanese discussion reposts an approximate natural-SP interval of 7.54 − 0.06 × INT seconds per 1 SP; its table doubles sitting recovery. This is a cross-region candidate, not a Thai formula. Evidence: contemporary reposted formula candidate. jp_sp_discussion_20020301

Player guide

Skills and Mage progression form the next international test-era scenario. The exact build and its recovery behavior remain candidates.

What to explore in this stage

  • Explore the skill and job progression of the selected Beta build.
  • Compare time spent recovering SP separately from the SP Recovery skill.

Before the local update

  • Use a period-specific skill description; the later MaxSP-scaled formula is not established here.

These activities describe the intended stage. Exact local requirements and availability must be confirmed in the released build before this draft becomes a player announcement.

Developer guide

Implementation work

  • Recover the first-job skill tree, job-change requirements and initial skill levels.
  • Treat the Japanese natural-SP interval and flat passive-SP skill as independent candidates.
  • Specify timer rounding and high-INT limits before selecting a recovery implementation.

Character and world migration

  • Review learned skills and spent status points if continuing an Alpha character.

Acceptance checks

  • Natural and skill recovery can be measured separately.
  • INT values near any proposed cap do not produce invalid intervals.
  • The selected first-job tree does not include later quest or transcendent skills.

Affected areas: jobs, recovery, experience.

Use the mechanics history for candidate rules and developer reference for pinned comparison files. The release checklist defines the future evidence, migration and runtime gates.

Unresolved before qualification

  • Exact beta1 build.
  • Job change level.
  • Natural recovery.
  • Exp curve.
  • Drop rates.

Sources and official records

Original operator documents, republications, reporting and foreign comparisons are labelled separately. A source listed here is not proof that every rule in it applies to this stage.

Source details and limitations
  • Community compilation of early international updates — community research; community changelog compilation. global_beta_changelog Access: republication or compilation inspected; original provenance incomplete. Contains uncertain numbers and apparent year typos. Use quoted operator notices as attributed leads; do not silently assign international dates to Thailand.
  • Early Mage player guide — community research; player guide. mage2002 Access: recorded in existing research no new fetch. Skill reports are not official Thai rules; use only as a candidate/lead.
  • March 2002 player discussion of SP recovery — community research; player discussion. jp_sp_discussion_20020301 Document date: 2002-03-01. Access: archived or live html recovered and inspected. Reposted attribution to an Acolyte thread and homepage2.nifty.com/yoan. Approximate seconds per 1 SP; standing and sitting table. Region/build not authenticated, no HP formula or high-INT cap. Not Thai CBT proof.
  • March 2002 SP-recovery interval discussion — community research; player discussion. jp_recovery_sp_rate_20020322 Document date: 2002-03-22. Access: live html recovered and inspected. Primary evidence for what these participants wrote at the shown date; not official operator documentation or proof of Thai implementation. The thread title uses 公式 in the sense of formulas; it does not make this an official thread.
  • April 2002 high-INT SP-recovery discussion — community research; player discussion. jp_recovery_sp_highint_20020418 Document date: 2002-04-18. Access: live html recovered and inspected. Primary evidence for what these participants wrote at the shown date; not official operator documentation or proof of Thai implementation. The thread title uses 公式 in the sense of formulas; it does not make this an official thread.
